Pastor Jim Chambers

Jim Chambers grew up in Ohio, joining the Navy after graduating from high school. While stationed in San Diego, he heard the Gospel and trusted Jesus Christ as his Saviour on May 18th, 1986. Answering the call of God on his life, he enrolled at LBC Bible Institute in San Diego. There he met Bonnie and they were married in 1989. Upon graduating from Bible Institute in 1991 Jim knew God was calling him to be a pastor. In September 1992, after much prayer, they moved to Auburn, California and started Lighthouse Baptist Church on November 15th, 1992. Pastor Chambers has a life long dream, and that is to show people their need for Jesus Christ in such a way that they would be changed forever. Pastor and Mrs. Chambers have four children and still reside in the Auburn area.
